Dr. Victor C. Young, Pastor

Dr. Victor Young is the founder of FLBC in
Johnson City, Tenn. FLBC is a rapidly growing
church with a unique outreach and ministry that
welcomes people from all strata's of society.
Dr. young holds a Bachelor of Biblical Education
degree from Graham Bible College and is a
recipient of their Alumnus of the Year Award.
His graduate studies include Emmanuel School of
Religion, Luther Rice Seminary, culminating with
a Doctor of ministry degree from Trinity
Evangelical Seminary, and post-doctoral studies
in hermeneutics and soteriology at the
University of Oxford, Oxford, England.
Dr. Young's professional career includes
twenty-six years as a full-time pastor, a talk
show host on several radio and television
stations, a former board and executive committee
member as well as instructor at Graham Bible
College in Theology, Oral Communications, World
Regions, and Cults. his current ministry at FLBC
is the source of many newspaper, radio, and
television interviews. Whether in prison
ministries, churches, teaching and lecturing in
Haiti, Ireland, or California, Dr. Young's
desire is to, "Preach the Word; be instant in
season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all
longsuffering and doctrine."
Dr. Young was included in the 2000-01 edition of
the "National Register's Who's Who In Executive
and Professionals". His writings include
newspaper articles, tracts, and several books.
Dr. Young's greatest recognition is being the
husband of Linda Jane (Masters) Young, father of
Matthew and Victoria, and Papaw to Clayton,
Skyler, Mattisun and Landon.

Hello everyone ! My name is Matt Young and I am currently working as the Pastoral Assistant here at Fountain of Life and as of Sunday February 23rd, 2008 @ 7:00PM I will be an ordained minister. I am married to my wonderful and beautiful wife Brandi and I have two
great kids, Skyler and Mattisun. I have been working here at the church for a few years now. Previously I was working with the youth, and was blessed tremendously. I will truly miss them. I praise God for the opportunity to spread the word and to work alongside a great man of God like my dad. He is teaching me so much about the ministry. I look forward to a long career in the ministry, but at the same time it scares me to death. I
just don’t want to mislead anybody or do anything to draw me away from the Lord and screw up my testimony.
As hard as it is working full time at the church, I am also going to college full time as well. I am enrolled at Luther Rice university and hope to graduate very soon. I have also attended East Tennessee State University, Northeast State Technical Community College, and Graham Bible College. I just want to become the best minister that I can possibly be, and I know through daily prayer and Bible
study, Jesus will help me to achieve that goal.

Linda is the Office Manager at FLBC. She
holds a certificate from the "American
Association of Christian Counseling" and a
certificate of completion for Bible Studies with
the Lockman Foundation. Linda Jane (Masters)
