The purpose of FLBC is to bring glory to God, primarily by fulfilling our divine mandate as set forth in the Great Commission:

"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.  Amen."

We also seek and strive to glorify the Lord:

• by fufilling the Great Commission
• by reaching up to Him in worship
• by reaching out to our neighbors outside the church, and
• by reaching in to our brothers and sisters within the church

Our Three Fold Vision  

The three fold vision of FLBC is to see God transform as many people as possible into passionate and productive followers of Christ. Our three fold vision is: To see the lost saved, the saved grow, and to be real.

The three fold vision that has become our motto is:

     "To see the lost SAVED, --     Matthew 28:19, 20

     the saved to GROW,      -----     II Peter 3:18

     and to be REAL!"  -----     I Samuel 16:7
